Privacy policy
Last updated 1 October 2026.
This is a general template that applies to Aflabox. It has not been tailored to a specific country's law, and Aflabox may update it. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected].
1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Aflabox ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through the website at aflabox.ai and our newsletter. The Aflabox dashboard and boxes have their own privacy terms, which you see when you create an account.
2. What we collect
When you browse the site
The site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it sets no cookies of its own. Like most websites, our servers and our hosting and security provider keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time). We use these only to run, secure and fix the site.
When you subscribe to the newsletter
We collect your email address. We use a double opt-in: you receive one email asking you to confirm, and we add you to the list only after you click the link in it.
When you email us
We receive whatever you include in your message, such as your name, email address and the details of your question.
3. Why we use it
- To send the newsletter you asked for, based on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
- To answer your messages and support you, based on our legitimate interest in replying, or on steps you asked for before entering a contract.
- To keep the site secure and working, based on our legitimate interest.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell personal data. We use service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract:
- Brevo, which stores our newsletter list and sends the confirmation and newsletter emails;
- Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the website;
- our email provider, for messages you send us.
Some of these providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards they offer for such transfers.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up. Technical logs are kept for a short period.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to your data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email [email protected].
7. Unsubscribing
Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we'll remove you.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
